advice Copy content from old site and add to new site ?

Is it possible to copy all content from my old site and add it to the new site? If yes what is the easiest way of doing this when using Wordpress ?

BTW I will be closing down the old site!

There are several different ways to do it. You can export the content--but you can also use a plugin that will essentially duplicate your WordPress site and then you can just import that copy into your new WordPress installation.

You could also just change the domain in wordpress settings if you are sticking with the same host, which you will have to do anyway to get the site to work with your new domain.
