I submited 24 names, here the top 10 according to the rankings.

p6.com 829
buyrealty.com 731
webmt.com 721
greatsoftware.com 721
homelists.com 691
responsibly.com 682
coolflowers.com 677
friendlink.com 667
wrestlingfans.com 650
dialupisp.com 648
miniwebsites.com 642
I was feeling bad that segues.com only got a 728, but if it beats greatsoftware.com, responsibly.com, and wrestlingfans.com, that cheers me up a bit! ;)

My other submissions:
gladdened.com - 651
primebuyer.com - 646
loggingout.com - 639
instantwifi.com - 629 (some real value in this one, I believe)

I would love to see a complete list of submissions with there scores. It would be great to see how your domains ranked with other domains that are submitted. Anyone have any idea when they are going to make a decision on the domains to be auctioned?

Just tought of trying out how my domains will score...

PPCAd.com 678 (pay per click ad)
ScubaDiving.net 568
Saty.com 715
kuwl.com 662

Wondering how the ranking works...ScubaDiving.net is less than Kuwl.com??

Cheers, Al.

Me too, I was hoping more people would post their names and scores

Looks like the score may change soon anyway

UPDATE BY JAY: The point system is not final yet. Expect to see some changes to scores next week around Friday

What are restrictions if any for a person who just decide to work on the auction with thier names just to try out on their own .?

Pre-Friday scores, so I hope some go up! :)

idgo.com 688
Lizo.com 687
OhYah.com 667
GasToys.com 665
VacantHouse.com 662
CompanyManager.com 647
Voys.com 641
TwistOpen.com 626
CarScale.com 622
CityVintage.com 621

CarScales.com 613
Pevo.com 611
Eamo.com 607
ExecutiveAssociates.com 604
YiFi.com 595
Fizo.com 589

Edit: The more I look at the scores for some domains, I think the system needs some work.

ecuf.com scores 661 and has 719 google returns, No Overture.
Fizo.com scores 589 and is a CVCV Pronounceable domain with 130 K returns! Overture term of 91 etc.

I didn't pick on ecuf, but it was the closest that I could compare it too.

With only 450 domains being accepted I believe you'll need at least 800 points to be accepted or high 700's. I tried putting in generic one word .com's (like sale, add, ads) and the shorter the better, you'll recieve 800+. A 3 or 4 word name does better than a LL.com though.

Well... with them changing their "points" system, I do hope it will improve our chances of having a name selected for auction.

Yes that would be nice. I'm not sure but I think Moniker tries to select at least one name from every list submitted by members for auctions. To give everyone a chance.

Does'nt look like they changed anything to the scoring yet :|

This is nice to know >

Q) ....I have owned for about 18 months after picking it up on a drop. I’m sure it has been registered for more than 3 years. Can I submit it?

UPDATE BY JAY: Yes if you picked it up on the drop it will be allowed in.

Cool :tu:

I submitted a couple that made the low 700 range, The 4 year old rule is kind of stupid, Imo , There are two year old names making huge revenue, I guess that doesn't count-lol... oh well...rollllllllllllllll wid it

If names have to be valued at a min of $5000 by DT why would you put a min reserve of $1,000 :?

Here's a few of mine.

affordableskiing.com 617
chargecards.info 470
domainmarketers.com 616
dickering.com 666
emailtrading.com 639
fraudproof.com 648
hdtvadapters.com 596
loanpromo.com 629
pictureadvertising.com 645
positivelyhot.com 588
repossessed.org 617
securityplans.com 613
shopkeeping.com 647
sportslocator.com 651
unlimitedearnings.com 625
zipregister.com 660

it looks to me like the scoring is based on a math formula or particular keywords given value. I can't say I agree with the algorithm based on my submissions. Nothing I tried went above the 600's.

GreatSoftware.com and MiniWebsites.com should make it in aswell, Imo

It will be interesting to see the list, The automated valuation process that is being used, Is below par, Imo....I can't wait to see the list of accepted names though, And it says that the admins will do the reviews, So i don't think the auto valuater is the deciding factor, Iam sure research will be done, And the admins will do full valuations when choosing the names.

Value is more than keywords or lenght, it's how they are put together in context and also what's hot at the moment and for short words the actual usefulness and tense of the word. No electronic scoring can do those things well.

Keep in mind, even if your domain scores well, if it's less than 3 years old then it won't get accepted.

This isn't true. If you domain is accepted, the age of the domain isn't going to disqualify it. The "3 year rule" is meant to filter out domains that haven't passed the "veteran rule". That means, if someone didn't register it by 2004, it may not be able to fit into the top 450 domains power domains that were recognized as "naturals" sooner. As far as I know, if your domain scores very high and the domain is only 6 months old, it will be treated as a regular submission.

This is for those people who want to initiate an auction showdown with their domain. More people will get involved in the auction with a lower reserve. Then they duke it out and the value of the domain will be determined by the bidders.

If you don't believe anyone would pay $5,000 even though domaintools agreed its value is $5,000, then don't submit the domain. It's also done to prevent the type of bidding that's been prevalent at other domain auctions where many of the top domains were bid up to just "below" the reserve and the sale wasn't completed. If you are confident enough and smart enough to let the market set your domain value, then submit your domains and let the other guys fight over it.

More information on the auction will be posted at http://www.domainroundtable.com.

Most of the domains that are in consideration will most likely be in the 700 plus point range. However, we're having a well-known and reputable outside company handle silent domain auctions on those domains that don't make it in the Live Auction. This information will be announced most likely in late July.

The Silent Auction then gives all your domains a great chance to sell, and you can set your reserves at any level you like (this information may be subject to change. Stay tuned)

Carlton said:
Is there an ongoing contract required to have a name in the DomainTools auction?

There is no chained-up requirement on your domain after the Live Auction is over. It's only for the time of submission to the four days of the Domain Roundtable. Unless you allow your domains go into the Silent Auctions (where different exclusivity time tables apply), then you won't have your domain tied down to an exclusivity contract. That's why this auction is so revolutionary and attractive for domainers.

If you are lucky enough to have your domain in the Live Domain Auction at the DRT, your contract extends to the time of submission to the end of conference.

Good luck everyone!

How do I delete domains? The "remove" button doesn't seem to work.

Will I be able to delete domains or or alter reserves after the domains have been reviewed?
