Hi

I and another co-founder have built two software tools to facilitate the process of finding potential domain end users. The tools are available at

FindDomainBuyers.com

1. End User Company Search:

This tool is primarily a search engine for companies. The search can be narrowed to a particular set of industries (optional). The results email will contain the websites of companies that are relevant to the search term, and (when available) their emails (up to 5 emails) and twitter accounts. The companies in this tool are found from publicly available sources as well as individual company websites and social media profiles.

See this example output for the results of a search for the key term wind turbines with the search limited to industries “oil and energy” and “renewables and environment”.

2. Filter Domains and Extract Contacts:

This tool automates the process of filtering a list of domains for potential end users and extracting emails (up to 5) and twitter accounts of those potential end users - for example domain lists obtained from ZFBot can be used as inputs.

(i) The results email will contain two .csv files. The first is a list of potential end users with contact details extracted, the second is a list of other domains that are unlikely to be potential end users (parked domains..etc). A confidence score on the classification accuracy as potential end user or non-end user is also given on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest level of confidence.

(ii) The related domains column contains other domains that is likely owned by the potential end user. This will be useful for locating end users who own other similar domain names, and hence might have a higher likelihood of being interested in similar domains.

(ii) Additionally, if the relevant phrases section was filled out, the potential end user results list will also give a relevance score based on a weighted average of the frequency of the occurrence of the relevant phrases on the website associated with the domain.

Examples: See the two results lists EndUserDomains.csv and OtherDomains.csv for the input list ZFBotList.csv.

NOTES:
1. We’re extracting the contact details from the websites of the companies and other sources (not from whois data).

2. The classification of end user and non-end user is accurate for the vast majority of the domains I checked, however it does at times make mistakes.

Each new account starts off with 5 free credits.

We’re continuously updating the tools. Let me know if you have any questions, notice any bugs, or have feedback on potential improvements. Thanks!

The pricing structure is based on purchased credits (there are no subscriptions at this point) and is available on the following pages of the site (visible once an account has been made).

https://www.finddomainbuyers.com/charge
https://www.finddomainbuyers.com/fdecsearch
https://www.finddomainbuyers.com/eucsearch

(A) Available credit packages: (See https://www.finddomainbuyers.com/charge)
$2 for 50 credits
$5 for 150 credits
$20 for 1000 credits

(B) Charging policy for the Filter Domains and Extract Contacts tool:
1 credit per input domain (see https://www.finddomainbuyers.com/fdecsearch)

Example: If a list of 500 domains (say from ZFBot) was used as the input for the Filter Domains and Extract Contacts tool, 500 credits will be charged.

(C) Charging policy for the End User Company Search tool:
4 credits per result found. (See https://www.finddomainbuyers.com/eucsearch)

Example charge for the End User Company Search tool: For a search with 100 results selected, we will charge 100 * 4 = 400 credits at the time of the search, if we found 90 results we will refund the balance 10 * 4 credits back to your account.

I was not able to signup. After entering the signup form, I was redirected to the same form or the login form

I was finally able to log (I did not realize you were sending a verification email)

An other problem I see: you don't take payal. I will never use my credit card to purchase this kind of services (nothing personal, it's just a precaution). If you can't take paypal, at least give us a link to a vcc company that accepts paypal.

Thanks for your feedback..

I will ask my co-founder (who handles the cloud hosting part) to integrate PayPal.. I haven't applied for venture capital funding yet (planning to do so soon), so unfortunately can't give a link to a vcc company.

I can give you some free credits for now to check out the site - PM me the email address you used to sign up for FindDomainBuyers.com

link to a vcc company

Just FYI, vcc means virtual credit card. I don't think it has anything to do with company funding. They are usually available locally against cash payment. Often they have severe restrictions such as limiting the places/countries you can use them. Some blackhat sites sell vcc, but I haven't seen any acceping paypal, so it makes the things really tedious.

I see. I misunderstood.

We plant to integrate PayPal soon. I will update this thread once the PayPal integration is complete.
