GreatDomains.com - Please Post Accepted and Denied Names

One of my names, PinotGrigiot.us, was recently accepted by GreatDomains.com after having several names denied. I had a small thread going about this before, but I'd like to start a larger thread where everyone can post which names they've submitted to Great Domains and the outcome. This may help us get a better understanding of how they select names.

I'll have to agree. I've said that they can be goofy at times. But, to reject order.net is outright certifiable :o

Attorney.cc was rejected - I'm a bit annoyed by this given that litigate.cc, ethics.cc, and federal.cc can make it into the mix. However, given that order.net was rejected, I don't feel so bad. However, a domain, in a relatively weak extension with less than 1k OVT making it in over a name with well over 1.8 million OVT certainly adds to that whole backwards theory.

This is the first and only domain I will ever submit to them, though. I'll take my chances with Sedo.

They have IowaHunting.com and HuntingRetreats.com listed, so I thought I might have a good chance, since my domain is broader and would make for a great general hunting portal. Nope.

I think I also got the quickest rejection notice.
I just submitted FinalTable.org (poker related) and within a few minutes had a rejection email

It gets around 400 uniques a month.

No response is not an answer from GD. Sometimes it takes them forever, and some times minutes. I've had responses, good and bad, take two weeks or more. If you don't get one after more than 14 days, resubmit.

Has anybody sold a domain with GreatDomains yet?

A few NPer's have, albeit, I don't know of any recently. This question was asked and answered earlier on in this message-thread by a few members, if I recall correctly

Here's a strange one: Today, out of the blue, I received an acceptance offer to post a domain they rejected back in October of 2005. I didn't resubmit it or anything, as far as I can tell. If they send the paperwork, I'll add the domain to this posting.

I had GraphicDesign.org rejected. I never bothered with them again after that.

Here is a new GD twist. I recieved an acceptance letter for a domain they had rejected almost a year ago. I did not resubmitt the name. They just seem to have reached back and accepted it. The name is Destiny.cc and it was rejected monthes ago. Now out of the blue I get an acceptance letter. I'm hoping this is stems from an intrested buyer.
I requested the list price be increased by about 25%.
Strange.....
