GreatDomains.com - Please Post Accepted and Denied Names

One of my names, PinotGrigiot.us, was recently accepted by GreatDomains.com after having several names denied. I had a small thread going about this before, but I'd like to start a larger thread where everyone can post which names they've submitted to Great Domains and the outcome. This may help us get a better understanding of how they select names.

They play a little dirty... Two years ago I pulled three names off of GD for private sales as they were simply collecting dust and reg fees on GD's site.

6 mos later I tried to get a batch of 10 PRIME .tvs & .orgs accepted and they were all rejected at different times. After selling off these names (privately again), I see them popping up on the GD site after being listed by their new owners.

Conclusion, I've obviously been blacklisted by their management. I now avoid them like the plague. Simply a waste of time to post your name there.

On the other hand, SEDO rocks! I am consistently selling names there with no hassles.

I had 3 names rejected that imho were very good names compared to what I see being accepted. I'll never look their way again. Its not like their on DNjournals sales list every week anyway.

I have discovered how to get your names listed on GreatDomains! Just ask for an appraisal here at Namepros! Once again,can't get an appraisal here,, but just accepted by www.GreatDomains.com: :hehe: But, to be honest, I think out of the 26 or so domains I have had accepted by GreatDomains in the past, I don't think I ever got even one appraisal here. No big deal, just kinda strange. Different groups, different valuation methods. I guess.

I am on a roll again, just had my 5th name accepted inthe last couple of months. www.Glad.tv was accepted, will list for $5,000. I am kind of "glad" it will only list for this amount, since I think it is a more realistic amount than say $20,000. Maybe I will get a lower than than the $5,000, which of course, I would "gladly" accept. But realisticly, I have had at least 25 names accepted before, never sold one. Accepted prior: www.Raleigh.cc , and www.Hartford.cc

One thing to remember: www.GreatDomains.com doesn't accept 2 word domains very often. I don't think they have every accepted a 3 word domain, I could be wrong. If you want a domain accepted by GD, concentrate on a 1 word domain.
