I was domain hunting and went to bitcoincasino.de. There I saw a for sale page that was from a service called SmartDomainSale.com. Their site has some pretty neat features for domainers like the ability to sell a domain package on your for sale page, built in analytics, and a few other features. Sure you can do this pretty easily on your own if you take the time to do it, but it's nice to have a suite that is all together prepacked for these sort of things for low maintenance.

I don't know if they take a percentage commission of each sale or not....and how much. Wanted to see if anyone tried them out.

P.S. No I am not advertising / spamming. I have absolutely nothing with or any kind of affiliation with to do with that site.

I emailed these guys asking how much their commission per domain sale is, and they said it's only 5%. Not bad. I might try them out with a couple of my domains and come back with a review.

On SmartDomainSale.com you can create nice landing pages for your domain names for free. Whenever you receive enquiries, they will be forwarded to your email address and you can negotiate directly with the inquirer. If you sell you domain name that way, you don't have to pay any fees at all. You domain names would look like that: developmentconsole.com. (You also can add your own content)

The 5% provision has only to be paid, if you activate the Rapid Sale feature. With that, your domain names can be purchased by credit cards or with PayPal over SmartDomainSale. That would look like that:
GlobalIndices.com

In addition to - for sale optimized - landing pages, you can create domain packages like that: smartdomainsale.com/package/7/be101bflg/info That way you can promote some of your domain names for special prices.

Furthermore, you can add a SmartDomainSale code into your website and offer your website for sale. That would look like that investor.eu (Rapid Sale) or SuperGift.com (no Rapid Sale).

Can i see an example of what the landing page looks like?

sounds good but just wondering where you make your money if sales can be sorted out directly between buyer/seller with no comission due to yourselves. do you make all you need from the sales that you do get comission off instead?

Exactly, our users like the Rapid Sale feature. The advantages of it, overweight the 5% provision. With the possibility to sell domain names instantly, without any negotiations, the likelihood of sales increases significantly.

Domain buyers often don't want to spend time with back and forth negotiations. They want to purchase a suitable domain name for a reasonable price as quick as possible and move on with developing their web project.

thanks for the reply and info - that does make sense to be fair especially re people liking the rapid sale feature as i'm not a massive fan of protracted negotiations myself
