I would recommend that domain investors stay far away from .ICU names. The registry ShortDot has a track record of screwing over registrants by designating domains as premium renewals after they are already registered, so people are being charged hundreds of dollars when they auto-renew. In my opinion this is unethical.

To my knowledge they haven't done this yet in the .icu extension, but there is obviously nothing stopping them from doing so. This registry should not be supported by the domain community and should be reprimanded by ICANN.
