So, the little birdy of the internet is claiming that the new release of Win 10 is going to be equipped with a new robust browser option called "Spartan". It sounds pretty interesting featuring the infamous voice assistant Cortana. I may enjoy playing with it when I upgrade to Win 10. Here's the article on Spartan: http://time.com/3677255/internet-explorer/

As for Win 10, the rumor is it will be a Free upgrade for current win 8.1 users on both pc & phone devices, which i intend to take full advantage of for testing. More on that here: http://www.cnet.com/news/microsoft-to-deliver-free-windows-10-upgrades/

Can't wait to start playing with then both :)

@Eric

Both are facts announced officially by Microsoft yesterday along with Miccrosoft HoloLens and a brand new Holographic Computing Platform.

I was watching the live event yesterday. I really do hope that Spartan is a replacement for IE although I'm not sure if it's confirmed it will replace IE and Microsoft will remove all support for IE???? If it does mean an end to IE I know of several thousand developers who will be happy to see the back of it!
