Hi all,

Here is the thing...I own the domain Dinners.net.

It is one word, lots of searches, etc...What should i do with it?

Sell or Develop?

Selling is easy but not worth much.
Developing a site for...coupons, web app, advertising, ecommerce, should give a lot more money when i decide to sell it.

The problem is i don´t have the time or skill to do any of those things.

So i need some advice or some ideas or even a partner who sees profit in developing such a name.

Best and Thank you

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Learn how to develop or pay someone. Or both. Not easy to find a good partner unless you have a very premium name.

Humm. Are there any reliable groups that develop...maybe a webapp about food
If i can get some traffic it should sell higher.

Maybe a dinner recipe site or blog... once you have the core in place, you can expand from there... dinner coupons, dinner ideas, etc..

I'd try going to some sort of Meetup group for developers in your area. It's always best to just talk to them in person. Bit of a generalization, but I've found most of them are really really bad at communicating but can usually build whatever you want as long as they're not just starting out.

It's not their fault, it's just that they speak and think differently from business people.

It's a long shot, but you might be able to give them a vision for the site and do a JV with them rather than paying them as a contractor (again, this is best done in person).

The best developers I've worked with have always been local b/c I've just been able to drive over and talk face to face with them when I couldn't make them understand something over email or the phone.

That said, if you can learn to code (most people can within about 6 months if they really try) then do it!

I think you could try to install Wordpress (it's really easy to setup a website with Wordpress, you don't need any specialist to do it), a professional theme and start a website. Even if you don't have much time, you can start with small steps: find some SEO specialist, write one post or article per week, show the website to someone fromm time to time, etc.
