What meaning are you giving the word in your example?

Sometimes .US is good as a hack, but most times it's better used as its intended puropose as a local cctld for the U.S.

What the name means in other countrys/cultures dont matter as it's a dot US and permanently has a different meaning that overwhelms anything else.

The NAACP very much wants to keep the n-word off line. On the other hand they might not be interested in your name. So you might need a backup plan.

The plural is regged but not resolving. Maybe send the owner an email and find out what their situation is. It might be a person that will take good care ot the name.
