REP anymore?

So does anyone leave rep anymore?

I haven't seen it float through this forum in quite sometime.
I did noticed that the like and thanks feature boost it up by 1 point... but it isn't the same!

I do use it sometimes but when there is a great great contribution as I have reputation graph of "Achieved Greatness" so passes on lots of points to the receiver. If he deserves it then he gets it

Most of the times only selected people are contributing great posts again and again and then It shows me the message you need to share some rep before giving it to that person again. Then I use Thank button or Like button.
