The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I think they are spam.

You also want to remove all the emails as they are victims and they are not supposed to be listed here so other people can spam them again.

Thanks,

I agree with johnn. It is spam, even if it isn't a scam and you shouldn't contribute to it by sharing others' email addresses. The first thing I did was to check if mine was there.

EDIT:
Also, that user (at the link you listed) was spamming all kinds of threads and chat yesterday, asking people to PM him. Most of the time he would ask you send him your domains, but he wasn't interested in them - he wanted to sell you his domains. This is very irritating (happened to me) and is an abuse of this site. However, he is now banned along with another account he created. I would not do ANY dealings with him.

Thanks!

Again, maybe it is a domainer?
And according to domainers here on namepros:
Such emails are not spam!
Ah, the hyprocrisy of domainers:
My domain related emails are not spam, but any I receive are spam.

I didn't classify it as spam because they sent an inquiry to an email address, but because they took a general email and sent it to a large group of people. I have no problem with personalized inquiry emails and my understanding of CAN-SPAM is that is what they should be. Also, he was spamming the forums/chat quite a bit, but that is a whole other matter. I do believe he was a domainer, but he was asking to buy with the intent to sell, which is deceptive and dishonest IMHO.

Well, I got an email from him now as well asking to buy his domains. I recognize at least some of the other emails to be users on this site. I am thinking he looked up whois info on users from this site to spam them? Not sure there is anything NamePros can do about it if he did that - any thoughts?

EDIT:
@Eric_Lyon - Adding you so you are aware. This was from the same user that was banned yesterday: https://www.namepros.com/members/awdawesd.965212/

EDIT 2: Got the same email a second time, almost exactly 2 hours later... wondering if this is something automated... will update the thread if it is.

LOL yea, I got the same one as well. Plus, this one:

From: Sdusdu Sdusdu <[email protected]>

Hello

I was wondering if you wanted to buy all my domain names for low $xxx, every single one listed here?

* IPYJ.com (4 letter .com, "LLLL.com" Could stand for [IP] intellectual property; Includes copyright, Trademarks and Patents)

* Sarah.co.nz (New Zealand: Very popular first name)

* Actor.org.uk (United Kingdom: Actor 4,400 searches (UK) and Google Cost per click £1.19. Everyone wants to be an actor)

* Diet.org.nz (New Zealand: Very large industry and many blogs on this topic)

* Game.org.nz (New Zealand: Video games is the largest entertainment industry bigger than the music industry and Hollywood)

* Landlordinsurance.tv (landlord insurance 27,100 searches, High competition and Google Cost per click £19.67)

* Scorps.org (Stands for S-Corporation: According to Forbes 70% percent of all corporations in the US are S-corps)

It's someone here from NP who doesn't pick very good domains and appears desperate to sell. Just mark it as spam so the email gets flagged if they try to sell anymore.

I got the email from the guy too. Remember seeing that ipyj domain for sell on here a few days ago.

I hate unsolicited emails, but gotta give this guy props for the work he did on getting all of our email addresses from whiois

Yeah at least he's getting his domains out there i give him credit for that if they had better domains maybe they would make some sales I'm going to ask him how he mass emails probably. atomic

Yeah, I mentioned him in one of the earlier threads, he got banned yesterday with two accounts.

I received the same emails as well and I must say, their domains had me giggling.

Shameful.

they emailed me and asked me not to write about them in the forum lol

They deserve all the shaming that comes their way.

I'm thinking that part of the reason he was asking everybody for their domains to buy (though he had no intent to buy) was so that he could know which domains to check the whois info on.... pretty deceptive and dishonest... hope he doesn't sell anything with those practices.. I know I wouldn't buy even if I liked it because of his methods..

2
•••
I agree. I would much rather him offer the domain list for sale then inquiring about buying domains first.

1
•••
That's the thing.. if your domains are worth buying, post them in the forum... a lot less work and probably a lot more views... and certainly a lot more ethical - or at least a better opinion of you from the other domainers.
