Hi Guys :)

Please let me know what's your thought about these names...
1. SolarVentilator.net
2. SunVent.net
3. SunProduct.net
4. NanoWalls.net
5. unOILed.com
6. Untore.com

Thanks :tu:

============================================
And if you like some digging, here we go...

I had checked these names with these parameters:
- Location = US
- Language = English
- Match Type = [Exact]
- Devices = Desktops & Laptops
- Checked the trademark using TESS
- Display Format = DomainName | GlobalMonthlySearches | LocalMonthlySearches | Competition | Trademark status | .com status

------------------------------------
Then the results are...

1. SolarVentilator.net | 260 | - | - | NoTM | .com NotAvailable

2. SunVent.net | 320 | 73 | low | DeadTM | .com NotForSale

3. SunProduct.net | 36 | < 10 | low | NoTM | .com Parked

4. NanoWalls.net | 110 | 73 | low | NoTM | .com NotAvailable

5. unOILed.com | 46 | 16 | low | NoTM

6. Untore.com | 880 | 12 | low | NoTM

------------------------------------
Special note about... Untore.com

Because 'Untore' is actually an Italian word which means 'Infector', then I'll change the two parameters to better suit it:
- Location = Italy
- Language = Italian
...
Then the new result is... Untore.com | 880 | 880 | ...

5. unOILed.com
6. Untore.com

Horrible sounding domains.
Though unoiled could be good if developed.
Value is zip.

The others?
Not worth a thing.

Since a solar ventilator is an actual product, and "SunVent" could make a nice brandable of the same phrase, I would say that as a pair these two have some merit. Unfortunately, as far as "pure domain" value goes, ie. what you could get in the domain market for them, I'd think very little if anything. Put a site on SolarVentilator.net, build some traffic, sell it to a manufacturer or site which sells solar products.

Out of curiosity, I looked up some companies that manufacturer this product to see if any of them own generic product domains. Only one I was able to find was Broan -- might be worth looking into, although having a single prospect for a domain is kind of meh. (There may be more -- I didn't look hard. And of course there are endless resellers and retailers and garage-based shops etc. etc. etc.)

Thanks Frank, and also the others, for the thought :snaphappy:

But don't you guys think that Solar-things and Nano-things are gonna be the next BIG things?

Since you wanted me to do some digging here is what I found:

SolarVentilator.net
- hand regged today - strike number one
- you have the .net - strike number two
- 880 exact monthly searches in keyword tool - strike number 3

SunVent.net
- hand regged today - strike number one
- go look at the dot com/you have the .net - strike number two
- 58 exact monthly searches in keyword tool - strike number three

SunProduct.net
- hand regged yesterday - strike number one
- you have the .net - strike number two
- 91 exact monthly searches in keywords tool - strike number three

NanoWalls.net, unOILed.com, Untore.com
- do i really need to keep going???

Most of the people on the planet have no idea what any of these names mean thus the reason for why these names were still available for you to hand reg today.

So in closing I would like to say keep spending your hard earned cash as you see fit. When you get to about 150-200 hand regged names deep hopefully you will understand that you would have been better off to have spent that money on a few quality names.

Thanks for the digging.

But I wonder, how come your exact matches are different from my digging?

I already double checked it with the same parameters I mentioned on the first post, and my results are still the same.

If you are using keywords tool then ensure you are choosing "exact" searches when you check traffic stats. Also, ensure the names make sense. Anyone can find available handregs that have little or no meaning, viability and relevance.

$0-regfee, IMO.

Though a couple have some distant potential IF developed with stellar content, it would most likely be cost prohibitive. As for solar and nano being the next big things, they have been the next big things for years and the market is saturated with unused names, as well as fully developed.

Pay attention to the suggestions of others, rather than becoming combative. Fellow NP'rs are only doing what you have asked, which is to offer their appraisal/opinion on your names.

As a friendly suggestion, you yourself may want to do "more digging" on domaining in general before regging anymore names. Learn what types of names to reg and to stay away from, and why. Doing so now may save you some time and money moving forward.

Once you have a greater understanding of the aforementioned you will be able to better ascertain why the more experienced domainers appraise these names at $0/regfee. Good luck.

I had already set the parameter to [exact] searches, just like what I had mentioned on the first post :cy:

How many names you reg recently? Take a breather, one carefully bought name for low-mid $xxx with some development will get you more satisfaction a year from now(even a mid to high xx) then all the names i see you put up here(not just the ones in this thread). Net names need to be badass names or you will be renewing them next year. Goodluck

What do you mean by badass names?
Because I always avoid selling or buying any names which are related to sex, porn, alcohol, poker, and that kind of stuffs :cy:

badass means it needs to be higher up the food chain. Has nothing to do with specific industrys.
