The google guitar it was flash or ajax ?

Do you know about the google guitar today. When you move your mouse over it ... it plays sound. It was just for 1 day and i guess that was a very brand new concept can you guys tell me it how they do that i mean using ajax or flash. I guess it was flash am i right ? do you have any example or similar thing like that can you help me about it ?

As their blog post have stated, "the doodle was made with a combination of JavaScript, HTML5 Canvas (used in modern browsers to draw the guitar strings), CSS, Flash (for sound) and tools like the Google Font API, no_url_shorteners and App Engine."

That's the only tip they could give us.
