I think so. But then again it depend how you market it.
I've read some articles about del.icio.us here and there and they said that they just don't know where to put the dot. In my case it is easy to remember ...just put the dot in the middle.
The advantage of these domains is that I can put many subdomain(s) in it.
For instance: GR.AM could have these subdomains;
ANA.GR.AM
CRYPTO.GR.AM
DIA.GR.AM
MONO.GR.AM
MAMMO.GR.AM
PRO.GR.AM
TELE.GR.AM
ETC.
Also I'm planning to develop EX.AM in some exam information and I could have subdomains such as;
BAR.EX.AM
MEDICAL.EX.AM
CPA.EX.AM
MCP.EX.AM
MCSE.EX.AM
ETC.EX.AM
Know I know why I was not able to reg those and where they are.
To me, it is not so much about a return on investment. It is just plain fun. And so easy to brand.
Guitar players...stru.ms Swimmers...swi.ms Healthy cooking alternative...stea.ms
Stea.ms
Sport.sTea.ms (little long)
Guitar playing tips, best beaches, etc.
Another I own, again on a whim, is hit.name. The only .name I own.
Good for domain reselling site or blog. Not sure where to take it.
hit.name
a.hit.name
ItsA.hit.name
s.hit.name
See, it can be fun. Its creative
I've got many others and other extensions but can't recall at the moment.
Just have fun with it. Domains are words.
