WARNING: read this if you recently installed MIRC

I recently downloaded and installed mIRC to be able to join the new IRC chat server graciously setup by NH-Benjamin. Today Norton told me that a trojan called LSAS32.EXE had infected my PC. A google search led me to this thread:

I've since uninstalled both the trojan, and mIRC.

I've been running mirc for many many years now, without a problem.

Another option, ofc, is that you download "Bersirc" here : http://bersirc.free2code.net/

Thanks for the warning Armstrong ! - I installed it as well and have noticed something "Trying" to happen occasionally like a "fly-in" or something .......

Where did u try to download it from Mark?

Was it the californian download server?
