Where you delete posts saying there is some issue but don't quote it, link to it, nothing, so people would have no idea what post actually got deleted or what the issue is.

We have to do it manually, time permitting.

It’s possible that our forum software will add an option to DM a copy of the deleted message to the poster (see better solution below), but we currently don’t have any options available to us except doing it manually, which can be quite time consuming.

We always do upon request, though.

Update: A better solution may be to have the alerts include a link to temporary pages that show the deleted content, which is only accessible for ~30 days. This way, no one is bombarded with DM's (and emails) if a lot of content is deleted.
