I believe that President Biden was right when he said that Russia is going to Invade Ukraine.

Any intelligent person is going to come to the same conclusion knowing that Russia has already decided to pay any price imposed on it by the West through sanctions.

Short of full military confrontation by the West there is nothing that can make Russia to change its mind as they see this as a golden opportunity to resurrect the once powerful superpower that was equal to the USA.

But Russia’s ambitions are not going to stop with taking over Ukraine since it already has made plans to increase its sphere of influence to Asia, Middle East, and South America and perhaps the whole World knowing that the West is most likely not going to do anything beyond just imposing sanctions which ultimately will hurt the West itself by effecting the Global economy in an adverse way the longer that they go on.

I personally don’t like any of the old ideologies, philosophies, and doctrines of Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Religious Fundamentalism and all the other “ism” that are derived from the bad human characteristics of Greed, Lust, Hate, Cruelty, Jealousy, Prejudice, and lack of Empathy and that have been infringing on our rights in one way or another throughout the history because they can only exist through supporting inequality, oppression, suppression, torture, killing, and War.

When it comes to saving the World the last thing that I want to see is the further expansion of these old systems that have all already proven to be a failure in dealing with the existential problems that are currently facing Humanity and the Environment.

We don’t want all these political, Religious, and Racial parties and groups to resurrect their past, we want something new that can propel the World into the next Era that is based on the Universal Principles and Values that have been derived through Logic and Compassion and not through Force and Violence.

By “We” I mean all the Intelligent, Righteous, and Peace loving people of the World.

IMO

If you believe they are Russians then you are from same hospital.

This was genuine for sure, if not the guy in the middle should leave the army and take up acting because he’s the best Russian actor I’ve seen.

One thing I don’t understand though, why does it take getting caught to have these views? Did he have these before then? If so when why didn’t he try and do something about it, like he’s telling other Russian soldiers to do?

He says no one wants to kill, but every day we are seeing Russians targeting civilians/journalists/nuclear power plants (everything in sight) and using illegal weapons.

This is what I don’t understand, why does it take Russian solider to be caught for them to be suddenly enlightened? Why don’t they all look at each other right now and say:-

baddies-are-we-the-baddies.gif

And refuse to commit these barbaric acts?

The Ukrainian refugee crisis has become the fastest human exodus in decades. For comparison, it took 3 months for 1 million Syrians to flee the war in their country, It's close to 2 million now & it hasn't been 2 weeks yet. So the struggle & suffering are very real now. It's not just those in Ukraine, refugees usually go through terrible ordeals to get to safety.

Ukraine war: Terrified Ukrainian civilians repeatedly attacked by Russian forces as they try to flee town near Kyiv

https://news.sky.com/story/ukraine-...s-as-they-try-to-flee-town-near-kyiv-12559694

"The Russian military continued shelling and firing at the only evacuation route for those trapped in Irpin, a satellite town about eight kilometres from the Ukrainian capital.

"The Russian soldiers are everywhere," one young man told us, breathing heavily from running. "And they are shooting everything."

Ivan Wagner said of his home village: "All the houses are on fire… and that's all I can say... so much destruction… it's all destroyed… there's nothing to build or save… there's nothing left."

Just a reminder of what is doing right now the war criminal Putin in Ukraine.
Indiscriminate mass shelling of innocent civilians. Warning, hard images to see. But that's what's happening right now and the world must see.

Yes, we are now at the stage of indiscriminately targeting and killing civilians.

Also, you can't trust the Russian leadership when it comes to "humanitarian corridors".

Russia says it will open humanitarian corridors out of Ukrainian cities amid heavy shelling

https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/ukraine-ceasefire-russia-invasion-1.6375181

In the past they have done the same thing more than once, and then indiscriminately attacked fleeing civilians.

The war criminal is targeting and mass killing civilians and besieging cities, and cutting off water, electricity and food supplies, exactly like what Hitler did with many cities, St. Petersburg included.
Hopefully someday the International Crimianl Court will prosecute the war criminal for all what he is doing.

More war crimes...

Evacuation route out of Mariupol was mined, Red Cross says -

Dominik Stillhart, director of operations for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), has been speaking with BBC Radio 4's Today programme.

Asked what's gone wrong with so-called humanitarian corridors, he said they had been talking to both sides "for days", but problems remained confirming the detail of any ceasefire agreement - to allow civilians out of bombarded cities.

Stillhart said the challenge was to get the two parties to an agreement that is "concrete, actionable and precise".

He added that so far there had only been agrements "in principle", which had immediately broken down because they lacked precision, regarding routes and who can use them.

Illustrating his point, he said some ICRC staff had tried to get out of Mariupol along an agreed route on Sunday, but soon realised "the road indicated to them was actually mined".

"That is why it is so important that the two parties have a precise agreement for us then to be able to facilitate it on the ground."

So Putin, who is mass killing ukrainians, now wants them to flee to Russia and Belarus...

Ukraine rejects Russian offer to let civilians flee its assault — to Russia

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/...umanitarian-corridors-putin-belarus-rcna18936

“Our people won’t go to Belarus and to Russia,” Ukraine's vice prime minister said Monday, branding Moscow's unilateral announcement of humanitarian corridors “unacceptable.”

Ukraine dismissed Russian promises to let civilians flee its forces' assault on major cities Monday after Moscow offered humanitarian corridors that led to Russia itself or its close ally Belarus.

The news comes after another night of Russian bombardment, days of aborted efforts to evacuate besieged civilians under unceasing Russian shelling and nearly two weeks of an invasion that has brought death and destruction to areas across Ukraine but little progress in the Russian military offensive.

Oh wow, they can evacuate to the countries that are bombing them. How generous!
That is not a serious offer.

"Only websites & servers in the Russian zone will be accessible by those in Russia", is there more to it than that? Trying to understand what else could it mean.

Do you know? In layman's terms if possible:xf.smile:
Some more details on that.. Apparently a Black Swan Tweeted it earlier today, could be a defensive measure, or a cyber attack, it is unclear.. I don't think it's been verified yet..

I find this disturbing on so many levels:-

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...HOSPICE-stand-snow-shape-Z-support-Putin.html

The letter Z is the new nazi symbol (half of the nazi symbol).

It seems like Russia are on a mission to see how low they can go, when you think you they can't go any lower something else comes along, it seems like every hour they are trying to beat the previous.

I feel sorry for these children, terminally ill, no idea whats happening and being used as a tool to support genocide.

And like the Germans (in WW2) the Russian people are going to live with this decision for a long time unfortunately.

There has been nothing even close to this in a social media era.

Now we have the new swastika. The parallels are very similar to WW2.

Russia is so scared of dissent and the truth getting out, they have shut down any independent media, arrested thousands and thousands of dissenters, blocked access to social media sites like Twitter and YouTube, and now are considering just disconnecting from the internet? Joseph Goebbels would be so proud.

Dozens of Russian helicopters, three columns of vehicles, "trophies from the aggressor" – Ukrainian Armed Forces had a successful night

At night, Ukrainian soldiers entered the Chornobaivka airfield near Kherson, where the aggressors had decided to place part of their aircraft fleet. More than 30 Russian helicopters were destroyed (information to be specified - ed.), as well as manpower and vehicles.

Infantry also report that in the past day, 3 columns of the aggressor’s forces have been destroyed near Mykolaiv. The Ukrainian defenders seized trophies, a large amount of ammunition, wheeled equipment and 7 units of D-20 howitzers.

President Biden practically invited Russia to invade Ukraine, just as Obama enabled the invasion of Crimea.

Weak, disconnected leadership.

Sure dude.

President Trump was impeached (the first time) for withholding Congressionally approved aid to Ukraine, in an extortion/blackmail attempt of Zelenskky. He is now a world hero, while Trump is a whiny putz still praising Putin.

Trump only calls two people "genius"; himself and Putin.

So yeah...

Biden helped pull the world wide coalition together. Trump was busy trying to break coalitions, including pulling out of NATO. It's a real bummer for Putin that his buddy is no longer President.
