So should we renew the one words, and top keyword phrases we own, what is your Prediction about the Future of .Xyz.

They say it is the Next Dot Com, what is your take on this extension from Domain Names Investment Perspective.

surveymonky.xyz and survymonkey.xyz ...must be a really stand-up sites! (Though I'll admit I'll not click through).

One tries to put some bs on your computer, the other is already down, like some of those other sites. Survey Monkey being a well known survey company on the .com.

I don't know anything about the sites but I do know some respectful sites are being launched on xyz. I basically provided that link as an example...

This might be a better link to follow; https://gen.xyz/blog

What's funny about that, is abc.xyz is sandwiched right between proton24.xyz and proton22.xyz

One proton going to:

Deceptive site ahead

Attackers on proton24.xyz may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing your personal information (for example, passwords, phone numbers, or credit cards).

the other forwarding to some other site

I think .XYZ will be the new .COM, in China.

.XYZ can't compete with .COM. However, it can compete with .io and .co.

Great one word and short .xyz are now selling on NameJet in the mid $xxx. I would hold any word and 3 letter short .xyz that has TRUE potential value to an endu-user.
I think you're right-im watching NameJet each week -they seem to be having a lot of .xyz on auction now.

You provided that link. I'm just using the info you provided. Go ahead and copy and paste some of those urls in. I'm literally now running a scan just to make sure my computer stays clean.

From that link, there are 50 urls. How many are respectful to you? Go thru them and post the respectful ones, I'm sure there are a few.

Like I said I didn't check the sites and this is probably a better place to look. https://gen.xyz/blog

As for new extensions it will take decades for them to match the amount of fraud, viruses, etc. that .com sites have injected and continue doing so. I don't get your debate. ;)

Of course you understand it. Somebody was basically asking where are all the sites. Then you replied with a link. But it looks like you didn't actually look at what you were posting? And now looking, you don't want to touch it with a 10 foot pole and want to use another link now instead.

However you want to spin it. :P

I decided to do a quick qualitative search to see if I could catch some developed xyz sites. While browsing the web over the past few months, I noticed myself on several xyz sites.

Now, I decided to type "win" and ".xyz" in a google search and randomly clicked a few pages off Google. I selected two .xyz domains have been renewed.

http://giveaways.xyz/
https://myluck.xyz/

Both of those sites were started and renewed at least once, and it took me a lot less than 5 minutes to sort through the results to find them.

Honorable mentions:
http://mblife.xyz
http://www.cgfewston.xyz

I can't make a statistical analysis. But if I can find this in less than 5 minutes using gibberish search terms, I find that to be an impressive statement for .xyz

Did an advanced search on Google for .xyz sites: https://www.google.com/search?as_q=..._occt=any&safe=images&as_filetype=&as_rights=

BTW - Didn't look at the sites yet, just pulled up results.

The ones that caught my eye are
wag.xyz - wag.com pet products, part of soap family ETA OK sub of Amazon now https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diapers.com
mediaops.xyz - Gary Vaynerchuk YouTube Shortcut
namecheap.xyz - Register a .XYZ domain name - They are ~20%, with onamae, and #1 is west.cn at ~40% https://ntldstats.com/tld/xyz

And top 30 only 3-4 Chinese, with the above registrar stats, I would have expected higher, oh duh, likely since I speak English it's a Geo/Google issue
Here's another way - https://www.google.com/search?q=inurl:.xyz

It seems like a very impractical extension. The fact that Google is using a .xyz is not as significant as people believe. Google missteps very frequently. They've invested billions into failed products like Wave, Buzz and Google+. Everything Google touches is not gold.

I was in to xyz long before Google ever thought about ABC, so Google means nothing to me pertaining to the extension.

Google using a .xyz inflates the value to your benefit if you bought early and at cost. So it does pertain to you indirectly. Perceived value has to come from somewhere.

But, I was referring to people that think Google can do no wrong.

IMO,.xyz doesn't harm anyone's domain name portfolio.Having some good name is better than not having it.Just my 2 cents..

I was surprised to find on the second page CNET.xyz (redirecting to CNET.com). One would say this techie people should perfectly know this .xyz stuff is all just about spam and viruses and similar BS. ;)

You have transferred all domains into the same domain package (contract) OR each domain separately (1 domain per package/contract)?
Did you already receive invoice from 1and1? What price is calculated there? (because Cart-prices and Invoice-prices sometimes are NOT the same at 1and1)

p.s. 1and1 is using post-payment model (sometimes actual charges are postponed even up to 1 month)... so only Invoice does matter de jure and de facto.

I have 1 user account with them but created a new contract for each .xyz domain.

Yes, I have received the invoices by now (I didn't transfer upcoming renewal .xyz domains all at once). The invoice amounts matched the cart prices and the money was pulled off my bank account (which is quite common in Europe). I think you call that direct debit.

The amounts paid were the special prices, no higher prices or additional fees. I tried them out with one domain first.

Thanks,
Brandon

Slowly it will of course hit the market, but we got to wait for up to 5 to 10 years. Best bet would be register the domain for up to 5 years and than see the game. I my self am not floating my domain in the market.
but i am sure it will be a hot choice one day after com and net.
