I just saw this expired domain on godaddy and i can't help but see that it has low domain score in ahrefs,

My question is, would it still be advisable to buy it for a quick flipping?

Yes Yes i know i shouldn't just give a domain name out like this, but i am genuinely new to this and want to hear all your insights.

would also love to know what tools one must use to check the health of a domain before making a purchase?

Thanks in Advamce.

Who would buy this from you in the near future for your "quick flip"?

it was previously a Image hosting site so maybe someone in same niche?

2 mistakes:
1. Post the name here
2. Learn the wrong thing: who care about domain score?

sometimes it's the indicator of a bad backlinks to a domain, in your experience is it totally irrelevant?

Hi

if checking health,
then maybe use a stethoscope to listen to the beat or pulse of what's hot and what's not.

if you're relying on metrics, then first, how valid are they and second, like John said "who cares".

there are a few who seek out names with "scores", but margin isn't worth the effort.... unless it has traffic.

imo....

Is it Advamce.com?.......i don't know, but i do know when i check with GD they value it @ $1,295. btw, I've been very involved with "scoring" programs whereby I happen to own the domain JudgmentScore.com where I actually trademarked JudgmentScore®, but I still own the domain.

Moving on.....the only use imo for advamce.com would be to use it in the context that you used; Thanks In advamce.com where in a letter or email you might just get someone to click on it for any number of reasons. I did just see however that you could purchase Thanks in "adpants.com" where you would market it to someone actually selling "pants". Whereas "advamce" is clearly a misspelling and "adpants" is simply catchy.

Anyway, there would be a broader market for "advamce" vs. "adpants", but both names would need outboud Xposure of some sort in order to sell.

Just something you should ask yourself before buying (y)
Thanks for the input man, also do you ever check for spam score or backlinks of a domain before buying?

How important do you consider them when buying a domain?

Agree with @cooljub I just buy what I like. Have never used any tools to check the "health" of a name.

Somehow killshot, this went over my head.....Duh! Instead of 10Pix.com i thought the misspelling of Advance/Advamce was what you were referring to?

Anyway, 10Pix also could be used or possibly sold for a gambling site where an entire game could be developed around making 10 pic's of just about anything, and if you got all 10 right you'd hit the Jackpot, you may even win a MILLION:xf.rolleyes:

$5 to $25 = Reseller Value Speculation (NOT an end user speculation)

I have a SEO domain. So you think there I can find a buyer?

I'm afraid you need to upgrade to a certain membership level (and pay) before you can sell anything there.
I might be wrong, but I believe that after Google's latest "anti-SEO/spam" updates the demand for SEO domains has decreased or at least is going to decrease soon. Fewer buyers who are also more picky. Sure, high DA/DR domains will still be purchased by e.g. Indonesian casino spammers, because that kind of business is so lucrative for churn and burn (rank and bank) tactics, but normal affiliate marketers and their content sites are pretty much doomed, which means no buyers for mediocre seo-domains.
