I understand they can get really annoying, Matt. I just wouldn't want any innocent person being swept out with the bathwater. Else, I'm all for whatever you intend to do :)

There's more where that came from. ;)

We have a lot in store for our users the last 6 months of this year.

We're hoping to do payments in the future this early at all times. We'll see about next month soon.

I got the opposite problem. For almost 2 years I never see bodis.com deduct any chargeback. In fact, unless I tell I suspected a significant chargeback, I never see any chargeback report at all for 10 years.

Maybe it's just not reported. I saw some difference between amount noted and amount paid. So may be it's already deducted. Often there is no difference while I think there should be some. I know I don't have perfect record. Other parking deduct 0% to 1%. On bad month it can be more.

You sure you're not over paying Matt? I am concern that this can bite us bigger in the future, like losing mutual trust, or getting the account smart priced.

Also thanks for payment. And thanks for the extra green payment too last month. That must have cost you a lot :(

Will come up with some more ways to send more traffic to all parking.

Thanks for kind words ngenme. Much appreciated.

We're definitely making a stride to satisfy our customers the best we can and hoping that all the improvements we put in place such as the faster payouts will help increase customer satisfaction.

As far as deductions are concerned - well, it really is up to the upstream advertisement provider. Whatever they pass to us, we simply pass onto the user. I am glad that you have not received any deductions up until this point.

I can definitely tell you a lot of users do, including myself / my own domain names (as few as I have).

However there are two types of deductions that our primary upstream ad provider passes onto us:
  • Those initiated by the upstream provider themselves. Such as for low quality or non-converting traffic.
  • Those initiated by advertisers. While traffic can be clean and well converting, sometimes the advertisers will still demand a refund for whatever reason and a fraction of those times the upstream ad provider will have to comply with the advertiser.

Hope that better explains the system!

When you pass that on to user, does the user know? For example, at parkingcrew there is a report in some month: clawback, $3 or $5. I never saw that at bodis.com and I am sure there has to be some chargeback there, though not large and not every month.

You need to visit my account -> payment history and if you look at Finalized Earnings, there is an icon on the right of the amount. Just click on it and you will see advertiser deductions.

Does Bodis have a static IP address I can point the A record in my domains DNS to? Some domains I own have really strict name server standards at the registry that ns1 & ns2.bodis.com don't adhere to.
I understand I can't set the CNAME records *.domain.com to point to 'parking.bodis.com', but I need a IP address if the visitor to the domain doesn't type the 'www.' (or any other) sub-domain in their browser address bar.

We didn't offer A-record forwarding publicly in the past due to a few reasons, however that will be changing. I will PM you the details now and in the future we'll make it public in the UI.

PM on the way!

In my experience fluctuations in RPM & CTR are 100% normal. You have to understand that the ad's your customers click on is actually a living, breathing network of advertisers bidding real time on your traffic.

If a customer shows up at 3:00am and clicks on a high paying keyword, chances are you are going to be paid very little because at 3:00am there is not a lot of competition. Now let's say it's prime time; 2:00pm and a customer clicks on your ad's, well this time you might be paid more because of the competition during that hour.

The bottom line is; it's 100% normal to experience fluctuations daily. To this day I still have high and low days but overall, the 30 day average, had stayed the same or gone up.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything else.
