They can simply select from pre-determined packages of visitors to send to their website, which we start at 10,000 visitors.
Customers can also customize their campaign with a few clicks including audience category, campaign duration, Geo-location, as well as quantity of visitors. Customers are given a flat rate price, pay with PayPal or credit card and they are good to go. Our virtual assistant takes care of everything including reviewing their order, processing, and support. The platform takes care of everything including automated notifications. Our ad network starts sending targeted traffic to the customer's website or landing page until the campaign is completed.
These ads are full page and served as a mix of pop-under, domain redirect, and interstitial ads. Some customers are new to the advertising game and need education as to what a landing page is, what conversions are, how to design call-to-actions, and content. As an alternative, customers can always just use their homepage or product page to target traffic. We have many customers that use our service to help deliver more traffic to pages that display ads for paying Advertisers.
AW – AdvertiseWorld.com is an advertising exchange platform that connects Publishers to Advertisers. There are 2 sides to the business Publishers and Advertisers that will be explained.
Publishers are simply people or businesses that own a website and want to display ads to make money. Once registered, they set a small snippet of code on their website and we take care of the rest by allowing ads to be served. Publishers get paid at the end of the month on how much revenue they generated.
Advertisers are people that want to advertise their product or service on Publisher websites. Once registered, they upload creative in the form of banner ads. Those ads are inserted onto our Publisher network and automatically displayed on Publishers website. This is similar to the Google AdSense network for display ads without the minimum requirements to become a participant.
The best part is the more Publishers, the better the network performs and the more money it makes. Those Publishers can sell within the network, to specific Advertisers, or can be setup through an SSP. An SSP is a Supply Side Platform and this allows ad inventory to be sold into other ad exchanges. This ensures your Publishers ad space get sold with Advertisers in other ad exchange networks. We recently aquired this website to bundle with our existing model. The entire process, design, relationships, and plan has been improved and ready to implement for the new Buyer. Why are you selling the business?
Our team launched a highly successful cyber security startup in early 2015. The startup has more than consumed all of our time and we have not been able to dedicate the necessary bandwidth required to grow the business. We perform no more than required maintenance and an occasional email marketing coupon offer. We have significant investments and growth in our other business which requires our full attention.
We have come to the conclusion that we no longer are interested in being in the advertising space and want to pass the torch to someone that has a fresh set of eyes to focus on growth. This opportunity can be taken as a passive income or a full-time traffic business depending on the Buyer’s goals and plans to grow where we left off. The team at AtomX is very supportive in the growth of the business and will help answer any questions you have about configuring campaigns and management of the platform.
What growth opportunities are available to the business?
SEO – We have done very well surviving the SEO updates via Google Panda and Penguin. Surviving Google updates shows we have done a great deal of work on organic SEO and white hat practices to keep the business valued in the eyes of Google. Other businesses in this space cannot say the same. Google changed its algorithms significantly over the years we have been running this business. They added 4 primary ads to the top of Google search. They removed side ads. They also added many rich snippets to search results. All of this resulted in a higher struggle to compete organically. We have a significant Google presence and most sales lead only from Google organic search. Expanding beyond this will grow this business rapidly, but we just don’t have time to put in that effort. We have connections and services we can introduce the Buyer to if they want to be hands off with SEO that are pay for performance. Great team of guys and they deliver results.

Recurring subscriptions – The easiest way to grow this business is setup a recurring subscription model. Everyone knows that SaaS businesses are the latest trend and have tremendous growth opportunity for a business. We worked with our supplier in creating a model that would automatically re-create campaigns on a renewal process each month. We never implemented the web version of this new feature. We have had dozens of customers request this feature. This is a great way to collect additional revenue from your customers with minimal effort.
Email Marketing – We use Mailchimp for email marketing. Email marketing is key to any business and we have had very successful campaigns. Offering coupon codes is great and works very well. But, in order to get a marketing campaign to do its job, you need to nurture your leads and customers with content that gives them a better understanding and value behind your business. This process is very simple to setup and is included in Mailchimp as a feature.
Offers – We use OptinMonster, which is a highly recommended tool used to capture visitors and potential Buyers by providing an offer before they leave our website. There are so many opportunities to gauge interest in your visitors that we have not taken advantage of. Simply make an offer and your leads will input their email to subscribe to the offer. Once you get their email, you can have the marketing automation do its work and lead them to a paying customer.
Facebook Advertising – Facebook advertising was launched in 2012, but had a lot of problems. It has advanced so much in these past few years and we have not had the time to explore all of its capabilities. This would be a great opportunity to grow the business through a PPC campaign and drive traffic to a high converting landing page.
Banner Exchanges – This channel is another method of driving more qualified leads. The goal is to find websites and other opportunities where your Buyers would be surfing. Buying directly from these websites is typically a contract that includes paying for a banner space.
Upsells – One of the opportunities we discussed was to add more upsells and products to the site. When our customers are buying traffic, they are looking for new innovate ways to get more traffic to their website. They are also looking for growth opportunities and ways to optimize their websites. Simply offering an eBook or additional offer during checkout would be a great way to increase revenues.
Partnerships – Simply setting up partnerships with web developers and others would quickly increase revenues. Affiliate marketing is a great idea that other competitors must live off. AW – We have recently acquired this platform, cleaned up the site structure, and processes for new owners. The new Buyer would spend a few hours setting up new Advertiser relationships, marketing, and verify/registering new Publishers.
What are your primary tasks for the Business?
BFWT – The primary tasks for our business is to maintain the website. This requires minimal effort only if there is a problem or major update. The other tasks include creating relationships with larger customers who want to place segmented orders or establish a longer contract. When ad inventory runs low, purchase new ad credits. We also make a payment each month to our VA. Very rarely do we have to participate in any additional work since our VA takes care of everything else.
AW – The primary tasks will be to review and approve new Publishers, create relationships with new Advertisers, and work with other Advertising networks to create partnerships for unused inventory.

BWFT - Yes, we have 1 Virtual Assistant. She understands the business very well, is self-sufficient and will let you know if she runs into any troubles. As discussed, she is part time and runs the order processing/support for $110 a month.

Currently, it’s at 10-20%. This is all a very manual process for customers to re-order from us. Simply adding a reoccurring subscription model will raise this percentage up dramatically and easily double revenues.

Not as much as we should. Again, the lack of bandwidth has really made this a huge challenge in growing the business. For our other businesses, we use Buffer which allows you to post across all channels in one place. This makes it super easy to schedule, manage, and distribute posts for all your networks. We own a Twitter, FB, LinkedIn, G+ for BFWT and AW.
Do you have a blog (on or off site)?
Yes, on site. We paid a service to write a year’s worth of blogs. We didn’t renew the contract and have been behind on getting that going again. That will rapidly attract more organic traffic to the site with new articles and consistent posts each month. The easy method would to be a hire a blogger and have them manage the blogs and scheduling out posts. Alternatively, you can write the posts yourself. This content can be used for your email marketing campaigns and social media outreach.
