Read the following carefully:
Watch the first episode of Survivor and decide who you think will be the winner
of this season's show. I will be giving to the winner of this contest 500 NP$.
There is a limit to the number of entrants since each NPer can only have 1 pick.
You must be the first to post the name of the Survivor contestant and no one else
can choose the same after. You must post your choice after I've made my pick (in
an attempt to win my own NP$ back :P).
I will post my pick sometime between 18-24 hours after the time of this post.

but then I saw the description "curmudgeon who hated everyone" and
it was like 'Oh yeah, that guy'. :bah:

The "Villains":
Tyson Apostol: Very nasty attitude, get back on your bike
Randy Bailey: Dork, nutty, weird, dont like people, but very much knows what to do. Victim of the classic fake idol
Sandra Diaz-Twine: Didnt she tell a big lie about something?
Danielle DiLorenzo: Barely remember her, didnt she get stuck on exile island all the time, Why she a villian lol?
Russell Hantz: Slick needs no stinking intro
Jerri Manthey: Never had a complaint she didnt voice out to everyone!
Boston: All he has to do is open his mounth and i throw things
Parvati Shallow: Nice Tramp Stamp Girl
"Coach" Wade: I like this guy, I know I am in the minority
Courtney Yates: I hope she fatten up before getting on the island this time.


The "Heroes":
Rupert: (I dont care what his last name is he will only be Rupert!) Him getting a million based on phone call votes was a joke
James Clement: Dude bring your A game this time, you got the skills
Colby Donaldson: This guy been on tv too much for me, The shaving comercial was the last straw
Cirie Fields: made good friends early, better do that again
Amanda Kimmel: Probally too nice, now going against the heros? I feel alot of hugs coming
"Sugar" Kiper: Girl it aint going to be that easy this time
Stephenie LaGrossa: I felt Survivor Palau turn into the Stephenie Show!! Remember her bitching at a girl because she didnt know what a sports "pick" was. There guys that dont know that!
J.T. Thomas: Male version of Stephenie L. Cant say your just a simply country boy cattle farmer this time
Tom Westman: Good guy but u got your million.
Candy Woodcock: Name alone brings street cred. (dont remember her at all)

I would assume that the Jeff Probst video was shot right before
they started filming the season or else he would have to be a
very good actor when talking about each of the players. But hey,
I could be wrong. Maybe the video was shot after, Jeff's a good
actor, and Coach actually does win after dazzling his opponents
with his great stories.

I know only a handful of the 20 survivors. Anything coming out of this for me is going to be more luck than knowledge of the game style each survivor will offer to the game. I know Rupert will go far and even claim victory if he can stay healthy and allow the other survivors developmental input with decision making and stay away from building beach side shelters...... below the tide line. :D

It's up in the air for me on choices. I have one winner picked...... but then it's a a complete random. I don't even know who might be the first to go at this point.

There was a young fella a few Survivors ago (12,13,14 or so) He was from my hometown here. I didn't see the ending episodes of that Survivor, but he was one of the first few to go. His nick name was 'Snowman'. They labeled him that in previews a little but I don't recall ever hearing anyone refer to him as that in the show.

I would never apply to be on Survivor. I like food too much lol.
I'm not into the whole semi-starvation thing. Being in Canada
I couldn't apply anyway.

I don't know who 'Snowman' would have been. Maybe he was one
of the plus 200 players to show up at this 10th anniversary party
of Survivor last Saturday night.

Last time i checked there wasnt any internet access on thoses islands so that would eliminate my survivor particapation right there. The other thing is that i have seen seasons where they were swiming in most of the chalanges, i am not the type to go jumping in the ocean for a swim. And food wise, please lol. If i was playing i would be the good guy that finally at the end did what it took to get in the top two even if it pissed off everyone, cuz second place isnt so bad.

Of course, if Survivor was actually broadcast live like the TV show Big Brother is, that
could actually be a dangerous tool for whoever won it.

Of course that would have been him looking for the immunity idol before there were any clues.

They actually don't have a clue who he is. This upcoming season of Survivor was filmed not long after
the last one at the same location. They did this to cut costs. This really works great in his favour.

I've already got my 2 picks. It's not oilman, though I do expect him to do very well.

That logic would work with a normal allstar show. But this is heros vs villains! Everyone will be stairing at slick and wonder why the heck he is a villain. They will not trust him twice as much as the other known villians.

Actally if "heros vs villains" was filmed right after "samoa" slick would either be fit like he went to training camp, or spent out lol not sure which to pick the more i think about it. I am problally lean on it being an advantage

I saw the first "heros vs villains" comercial that i seen during the football game this weekend. It was just a quick 15 sec one, Slick of course was the only person to say something but it was so quick i didnt understand what he said.
