Read the following carefully:
Watch the first episode of Survivor and decide who you think will be the winner
of this season's show. I will be giving to the winner of this contest 500 NP$.
There is a limit to the number of entrants since each NPer can only have 1 pick.
You must be the first to post the name of the Survivor contestant and no one else
can choose the same after. You must post your choice after I've made my pick (in
an attempt to win my own NP$ back :P).
I will post my pick sometime between 18-24 hours after the time of this post.

I'm opening up the thread for anybody to make their picks of who will become the Sole Survivor
on Heroes vs. Villains. You must pick 2 (1 Hero and 1 Villain) to be in this contest. The prize for
choosing the Sole Survivor is 600 NP$ (300 NP$ from me and 300 NP$ from ComKind ).
The available names that are left to choose from are listed below. First to post from the available

i still use a vcr too lol, if something is on and i want to see it later i just turn on the vcr and record, watch it, then rewind and i am ready to tape again. But if its something i would want to save (i dont save much) i will use the dvd recorder.

Too bad the timing with the season premiere. I think you may have to avoid
this thread on that night so you don't see spoilers.


Before I open up the contest for anyone else to make their picks I'm going to ask
mis_chiff, johname, ComKind, and Briguy to make their 2 picks (to enter the contest
you need to pick 1 Hero and 1 Villain) before this Monday. I'm doing it this way since
these four people plus myself were regular posters on the thread during last season.
If more than 1 of us picks the same castaway we'll randomly decide who gets the
pick.

Watch the NamePros.tv SuperBowl Party Live from Vegas during Halftime

Noticed your signature. I'll have to check out the NamePros.tv SuperBowl Party feed at halftime. Should be interesting to see.

This game matchup will be a good one to watch with alot of action pass plays from both quarterback's.

My wife and I are hosting a Superbowl party as well with a Hold 'em poker tournament to lead the activities early on and a Cajun style buffet of grilled Catfish, Cajun fried Shrimp, N.Y. Strip steaks as well as the southern favorite......Mudbug & Crab Gumbo and peppered cornbread. Kind of a New Orleans themed gathering so it should be fun and looking at a nice turnout. Had to pass up on the NamePros Party this with everything going on but it is nice to have a live feed to check in on. I wrote R & R to inform I would do my best to try to attend next year. Saints by 4!

Thanks for reps! I picked Boston Rob on the hunch that he won't get picked on early in the game and the other villains will have more to grind with every one else. Candy I have no clue as to how she will do. She was a totally random pick. I am hoping the same with her I guess. She seems innocent and quiet but maybe good at challenges? Please? ....and gives the impression she could go under the radar like Natalie in SV19.

I think the quiet ones who win the challenges will have one up on the outspoken workhorses. Feuds are brewing!

I think I'll stay with my original picks. But thanks for giving me the chance to back out. :D
I don't think anyone will be looking to get him out early. If he reaches the end, he's likeable
enough that the jury would vote for him. It's just that time in between that worries me,
especially if ends up holding 2 immunity idols. :p I'm sure he's learned from his mistakes.

I picked Boston Rob on the hunch that he won't get picked on early in the game and the other villains will have more to grind with every one else.

It'll be interesting to see if he's able to dominate in the challenges again. The guy is like
some kind of ninja.

James is a shoe in for lasting at least 1/2 way thru the game, its the back end of the game he will have trouble with. But its all guessing, so hard to pick even when we know a little bit about the people this time.
