How much would you pay for a domain investment guide that teaches you how to make a 6 figure income without having to outbound or wait for end-users?
Josh
Josh
I've had a few private PM's and just wanted to make something clear.
I could never promise anyone a dime in profit...That's not how life/business works.
I am simply interested in knowing whether people would be interested in an organized resource with a disciplined structure that makes it easier to achieve a 6 figure + income from domains... The answer is mostly "No", sooo moving on.
You’re not wrong.
Cutting out 10-30% commissions is incredibly important.
One of the reasons I can’t understand why people use Undeveloped over Efty (or their own landers).
"successful"I'm curious.. did you ever pay anyone for any guides, before you became "successful" in domaining? or was it all your own learning.. persistance.. mistakes.. from free resources.. like namepros..
if you never paid anyone for anything.. then your idea shouldn't make much sense.. to anyone. including yourself.
Yes, and anyone will make mistakes regardless so needing to learn from them is a given. It's more about reducing the frequency and severity of them in the first place."successful"
I didn't use a "guide" or "course" of any kind ...But I also spent/wasted a lot of time and money throughout 2013/14.
If I could go back, knowing what I know now, I would 100% pay $499 and go through the DN Academy course. Why? ... I've heard good things and I trust Michael. A structured resource would have been very useful IMO.
I don't believe in this silly fable that you have to learn from mistakes in order to be successful.... Yes, you should learn from mistakes, but it's even better when you don't make those mistakes in the first place.

Hard work wins.well learning from our mistakes is what life is all about.. and domaining is part of life.. why would it be any different.. why should it be.. and why should this be a silly fairytale as you put it
but.. we can just agree to disagree I guess
all in all, I think the bottom line may well be this:
look at where you ended up without paid guides.. look at where every other top domainer ended up... without paid guides.. how many of them do you think paid for guides? I guess we can ask them. my guess is NONE.
to me.. the silly fable is that there can be anything good and lasting achieved in life (which as I said includes domaining) without hard work.. learning.. persistance.. and yes, also MAKING MISTAKES.
but we can agree to disagree as I said...
I think we got a serious marketing problem here, free $100 advice incoming
If you wouldn't have announced your idea and put it to a poll before publishing but made your work visible saying
Hi guys, I made this, I'm pretty sure reactions would've been way different from every side.
P.S. 80% off for NP members, right?
It was through such medium (ebook) i came to know there is a business called domaining. In Nigeria when converted was about ($25) and thanks to that baby step i have made (>$1000) and would not mind paying to learn more but definitely between the range of ($20-$100).How much would you pay for a domain investment guide that teaches you how to make a 6 figure income without having to outbound or wait for end-users?

You sell quality to domain pimpsHey Josh,
A guide that teaches you how to make a 6 figure income, without having to outbound or wait for end-users?
How is that even possible, sounds like scam to me.. I mean the quote above that is highlighted green and bold just sounds like a scam promise from a poor sales person.
No outbound and no waiting for end-users... Come on!
I read that you provided an example of DN Academy, asking that do you see DN Academy as scam to another nP user.
Let me put it straight, on DN Academy you will learn about outbound marketing and also they teach you waiting for end-users by using services like efty and so on.
Also DN Academy never promise 6 figure income with their guide. So your example is 100% misleading.
I can see why you are asking this question and also your answer to that.
You would pay $299+ for such guide right?
Well just a friendly advice, if you have such project that promises a statement like above, do not do it. Or you might want to change the slogan of the guide and make it free or affordable like 20 bucks, maybe some newbies would buy it.
If you don't have such project plans would you please clarify why you asked this question with such slogan in the first place?

P.S: I have seen some cool quotes on this thread so here is one from me!
"Trust is a fragile thing. Easy to lose and one of the hardest things to ever get back."
lol, what is that suppose to mean? You sell quality to domain pimps
No outbound or waiting for end users means moving quality names to other domain investors for quick buckslol, what is that suppose to mean?
Again, I don't get that..No outbound or waiting for end users means moving quality names to other domain investors for quick bucks
Semantics. If you have a quality liquid name, it's not typically seen as outbound to list it in an auction, a np thread or write to someone who will pay you quickly for the asset.Again, I don't get that..
How would you reach a domain investor without an outbound or an inbound You got to reach your customer in order to move your quality assets for quick bucks.

Why do you assume all this action is to happen from one domain? How much should you pay for a quality liquid domain today in order to do that 6 figure from domaining?
Let's be realistic here.. We are talking about today, a real quality domain which is also liquid will cost you 5 figures or more.. and you are suppose to quick flip that to another domain investor for 6 figures? Come on..
Why do you assume all this action is to happen from one domain?
