Smart move, but perhaps a little too late. PayPal is a sinking ship.

Cryptocurrency has already been serving china for a long time.

Their best bet now would be to become a direct facilitator of crypto transactions, exchange, dispute resolution and fiat on/off ramp

I do indeed like those profits.

Only time will tell what happens.

Right now they have a monopoly on online fiat transactions which is a great place to be in.

I think fiat, for now, is still the easiest for most people to transact in. We will see if and how that changes.
