Not sure if this sold before but looks like it was the first time it was dropped since 2009

Another "bot" sale per DNjournal (not mine):

gobots.com
$2,349

Sold cheap via SnapNames likely to a domain investor. It currently forwards to a Dan landing page with a $488k BIN.

Prior to being caught, it was registered consecutively from 1998. Surprisingly, this domain has dropped 5 times!

In 2009 namebio reports it sold for $1,210.

Go (dot) Bot was registered in 2023, and that carries a $7,500 annual renewal at Encirca or apprx $5,500 annual renewal at PorkBun.

Apple exploring 'Home Robots'

https://www.cnbc.com/2024/04/03/apple-exploring-personal-home-robots-report.html

With Figure, Amazon & Tesla Bot we have 4 big players in this sector at least...

Home Bots will get traction very soon.

I think you're right about "home" related robotics being one of the next frontiers in robotics (Especially now that Apple is getting into the game!) To that end, I'm still hanging on to the following generic "household task" related robot names - Time will tell if they end up being worth the hold:

Bathroom robot / com
Bed robot / com
Carpet robot / com
Closet robot / com
Dish robot / com
Garbage robot / com
Table robot / com (See reference to Apple's "Table-top" robot development)
Window robot / com

PS - I would note that "Litter-Robot" is already an established brand in the "pet robotics" space

So lets see, if this a lasting trend.

If Tesla does research since 4-5 years in this field, and japanese robot builders for ... lets say 50 years ; )

I wouldn't be surprised if their competitors did not had their own research capabilities.

Amazon however, will deliver their logistics bots next year already (for their own facilities).

They tried to buy iRobot, but were forbidden to in the past.
