SEO Friendly URL is one of the important features in Prestashop, the benefit of which is to make your website more search engine friendly. But how do you activate this feature? The following is a tutorial to activate SEO Friendly URL on Prestashop
Steps to Activate SEO Friendly URL Prestashop:
1. Login in your prestashop admin dashboard.
2. After that, click on the Preferences menu, then click on SEO & URL menu.
3. Then you search for Friendly URL
Don't forget to select the option button (YES).
4. Then press Save.
5. Then click Tools> Generators
6. After that, you must create the .htaccess file in the public_html folder, then the file setting the permissions with a value of 777.
7. Back again to the admin prestashop, on the Tools menu> Generators and For the Optimization section (checked), then at the bottom you find the writing Generate .htaccess file (you click it).
8. Okay done, please check your website, SEO Friendly URL Prestashop has been successful.
