it shows the auction has ended . but it shows no buyer.

It was probably a scam. They probably had someone bidding on the auction for them. I think the high bidder was just a recently registered eBay user. Either that or they decided the domain was worth more then they thought and decided to end the auction.

I read on another page that what happened is the owner of vBulletin found out about the auction and the seller decided to give them the name. vBulletin gave the seller some vBulletin licenses.

i figured vbulletin would jump on the opportunity to get the name.
