if you use namebright.com, maybe you will can't login your namebright account in future In your country!


namebright.com two-step verification system have bug ,some country user can't receive 7 Digit Code or call after set two-step verification. cause can't login account.

namebright still can't solve this bug and problem,I can't receive 7 Digit Code or call after set two-step verification. I still can't login my namebright account!

this bug maybe contain your country. you will can't login your namebright account.and they refused to fix this problem and bug.


maybe next can't login namebright account people is you!

because It's not the first time namebright's two-step verification system has this bug and problem.

you will can't login account, can't renew domain, once your domain expired, your domain will be put pre-release auction on dropcatch.com. dropcatch.com and namebright.com is the same company.

I recently hand registered a domain name with Namebright.com and when I check the "whois" is shows the registrar as "Doman Falcon LLC". Has anyone else had this type of experience when buying a domain name from Name Bright?
There is no need to worry about this. @Namebright (and their parent company Turn Commerce) has more than thousand ICANN accredited registrars and Domain Falcon is just one of them

If this problem is solved, I will tell everybody here

now this bug and problem stil can't resolved. I can't login my namebright.com account more than 20 days

I also use my account email sent email to namebright, but namebright refuse delete my account two-step verification.

and namebright also refuse call me verify my cellphone.

@Rebies is in charge of Namebright.

they refused to fix this problem and bug.

they only ask you fill forms and notarized. It will caused you many troubles.

The exact and specific reason that lead to my needing two-factor authorization being recovered on my NameBright account is: my cellphone can't receive 7 Digit Code or call.

I think the most important things is proof my cellphone num

I see form write:IF the address on your valid government issued ID does not match your registrant and contact address you must also provide submit two poof of address documents.

but my registrant contact address is my office address, I can not provide my office address proof documents.

this form will cause many troubles!!!

What a bad system? that's how you do your business?

if you got a problem ,just fix that !!!!!! why refused to fix this problem and bug?

You should have been sure that you would be able to provide government issued ID that matches your contact address.
Two factor authentication is made precisely to add another layer of security. This precisely prevents social engineering account hijacking.
If somebody takes control of your email and tries to access your account, they still have to pass the 2FA. Then, if the hijacker just email Namebright to bypass the 2FA without any proof of ID verification that matches your contact info, then that's a social engineering hijack of your account.
Now you have to manage how to authenticate your account sending them some kind of proof of your office contact address.
Again, the worrying would be if they just let you enter into your account without your 2FA and without any proof of your account contact address ID.
If you can try to make a call to Namebright from your Namebright phone number, I think that should work. Or if they can call you to your Namebright phone number to authenticate your identity.
Just trying to think about a solution.

I can supply my Government Issued Photo Identification Card and notarize my cellphone num. and notarize this form except provide submit two poof of address documents for proof my registrant contact address.

because my registrant contact address is my office address, different with my government ID address,
casue I can not provide my offic address proof documents.

Then I think that you must focus on providing the documents they need to verify your account. Sorry because I am not from Namebright to help you more in this matter.

before park.io have the same proble, I only sent email to park.io support, park.io delete my account two-step verification Immediate.

but now namebright caused me many troubles!

about verify:

I also use my account email sent email to namebright.

I use dropcatch.com backorder domain. after domain backorder successful, dropcatch.com push domain to my namebright account. then I use namebright.com manage this domain.

and my namebright account login name、password 、cellphone、account email is the same as my dropcatch.com account.

It can be proved that I am the account owner enough.

I also ask namebright call me verify my cellphone, but namebright also refuse call me verify my cellphone. refuse delete my account two-step verification

Suspected that was the case. They can't help it. Blame it on the Chinese operators.

That being said, if they take on China located clients they should be aware of the issue with texts.

maybe users in many countries may can't receive two-step verification code.

godaddy.com also have the same problem about two-step verification. china user can't receive two-step verification code. godaddy already solved this problem later.

but now namebright caused me many troubles!

You can also submit a complaint to ICANN if the issue is critical and you are not getting any assistance from your domain registrar. You can check ICANN site for more information.

now I waiting for namebright can fix this bug and problem.I think I'm not the only user meet with this problem.

I'm surprised why namebright can't support google authenticator. I use other domain website, for example: godaddy,name.com,dynadot.com,etc. all support google authenticator.

because some restrictions user cellphone can't receiving the text or call. cause can't login namebright account. but namebright can't solve this problem after user feedback this bug and problem.

now you set namebright two-step verification, maybe you can't receive the text or call in future. cause can't login account. if you don't set two-step verification, your account is risk.

namebright face this problems is also very negative. they causes a lot of trouble to users.

namebright's two-step verification is far from perfect.

namebright.com and dropcatch.com is the same company. usually we backorder domain via dropcatch.com, then dropcatch push domain to your namebright.com account after backorder successful.

Strongly recommend: after domain past 60 days, you must transfer domain out to your other domain registrar. don't use namebright manage domain. beacause once namebright something goes wrong, namebright can't help you.namebright's attitude towards customers is very very negative!

If you have a lot of domain at namebright, you don't have sense of security.

It's my practice to move every domain not at my registrar away from their existing registrar to my registrar as soon as they are transferrable. It's been my standard practice for years. It's just that I've cut down a LOT on my acquisitions over the last year. So there are sometimes wide gaps between one transfer and the next, nowadays.

Today I'm having an issue with Namebright. I'm unable to use my balance in my funded account.
UPDATE: The problem was due to a transfer "bundle" which when split up, solved the issue.

Yet still the PayPal option has disappeared from the list of funding sources.

To me it appears that NB has removed the PayPal option.

P.S.: I don't subscribe to the "sentiment" of the thread title here.

If you are not getting any solution, then last thing you can do is Apply for change of address in your 2-3 id cards, there is procedure to change of address of your ID cards, almost every country / governments having this procedure to get update new address. Check the rules there in your country and if nothing happens then last thing you change your address by applying to govt. authorities. Its simple and 100% legal procedure and in most of the countries. It is a kind of request of update new address or change of address. Check the procedure in your country. sometimes there are options of Two address in Id cards one is permanent address and another is Correspondence address, Find out the rules i your country. Take this option only if everything fails.

I can proof my acoount email and cellphone is enough to prove I am the owner of my account.

why namebright ask user must submit two poof of address documents for proof registrant contact address and ask user must notarize it?

One more way is that take a legal route and file a court case and court will put a stay and freeze your account till the case solved, so this way they cannot sell your domains, instead they need to renew it, off-course the renewal amount will be charged from you only. but this is also one way to save your holdings. No one can do anything with you or anyone's holding if the person is confident and ready to fight a legal battle. if you take legal action and take court route then they also understand that these pity tactics cannot work anymore and they must fix their bug to save their face before the court.

already past 60 days, namebright admit this bug, but namebright.com still can't solve this bug.

user can't receive 7 Digit Code or call after set two-step verification. cause can't login account.
