Chitika pays well per click so if you have a busy domain expect big earnings.

What is their payment term?

My account has been approved. But the control panel seems confusing. Somehow... I couldn't find the instructions to park my domain with them.

From what I could understand, I'd need to have my own hosting and site. Then paste those generated HTML codes on my site to display those ads.

Is there a simpler solution like just pointing our nameservers to chitika, then customize the templates from within the control panel and then all set to go?

Power up

There is a seperate domain parking section that someone just changes name servers if I am not mistaken.

No hosting needed

This is the FAQ on the domains:

No one is talking about chitika RPM/Revenue stats. Has anyone seen any jump in revenue as compared to other ppc companies.

Thanks.

So do you get paid for clicks or is it commission based?

Not so good . No product shown in parking page. Bug is still not fixed .

I've got three of 'em up at the moment. Seem to be getting visits, but absolutely no clicks. There's no traffic stats, so I can't tell if they are any kind of real visits or just bots.

I've always had two problems with Chitika - for one, they seem to be very heavily weighted towards electronic/computer equipment, which is fine for those who are into it, but I don't usually play in that niche. And the other is that I never liked the way the minimalls looked.

The parked domains *look* pretty good. But, to quote a well known movie - show me the money. I haven't seen it yet.

Also, yesterday I was contacted out of the blue (on WMW) by a Chitika rep wanting to help me place some of their promotions on my developed sites; maybe they've got a big push on to get some fresh business going.

Agreed. I'm a little lost and decided not to push forward with testing more domains since I don't have many "shopping" niches.

I can't even give a review about CPC since there was ZERO clicks for a week as opposed to 5-6/day with traditional parking--which to me is odd in itself (except I couldn't really find relevant products for 'basketball' keywords).

I did not get approved because the domains I submitted were not related to products -
(product reviews, product news, etc.).

I did receive a same day response from them and may re-submitt with some of my computer/equipment related domain names this time. I like the concept and see some potential here if the clicks improve for those who joined.

They have a new 'premium' type ad that is not supposed to be product-oriented. The problem is, I went in today to look at their ads, and I can't help it, I can't stand ANY of 'em. None of them would fit well with any of my developed sites, and that small tabbed thing just looks too gimmicky to me.

So, unless the parking stuff suddenly starts to garner some actual clicks, I think I'm going to have to move on.

I tried to take a look but everyones site is down again, doesn't seem very robust.

I think I might have seen on a FAQ somewhere that that was "coming soon" but I might have been confused; you should ask them directly.

Hmmn...Another what looks like a promising concept!

I think I will give it a try with my computer related sites as I got a few.

Netmeg! Isn't this Tsitika/eMiniMalls is part of the Adegro links???
And does this mean that Adegro is using them as one of their revenue generator?

i parked about 8 domains with chitika since 5 days ago and got quite some revenue from the last 3 days. they paid 0.20-0.40$/click which is quite good. in total, i earned about 40$ in these 3 days. i think you should give a try. however, in so far chitika only run ads on 12 countries only: USA, UK, Belgium, Sweden, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Canada.

Jeff @ Chitika confirmed we are allowed to drive traffic to our domain.

I've sent a PM about this already, but wanted to confirm that I get the "We're sorry!" results on everyone's Chitika page too. No ads.
