Hi there!
I was just talking to a long-time colleague with whom I surfed the tail end of the dot com era, collecting domain names for our next big idea. The idea never was as good as we originally thought, so we ended up with a lot of fun domains that go nowhere.
So he told me that he has just let his many domains expire, one by one. I, on the other hand, am a domain hoarder and have been renewing mine like clockwork since the nineties. "What if one of those was the one?" I asked. "Inspiration that gathers dust is dead weight," he said with a tear forming in his eye.
So I'm ready to get rid of these things, but I want to do it in the most lucrative way possible. This is my first attempt, so I'm hoping to learn the do's and don'ts before I sell anything.
How is this site for a place to start? What's been your experience?
