UK seller is individual, not company.
Assume commission is paid by buyer.

If net sales proceeds (after wire fee), say = 1000

How much does seller receive in bank?

Name sells for 1000 with buyer paying fees can go...

1 - Seller is VAT registered and charges VAT on top of the 1k would end up with a purchase price of 1200 plus fees with the invoice stating a sales price of 1k plus VAT.

2 - Seller is VAT registered and charges VAT inclusive of the 1k so sales price would actually be 5/6 of 1k (833.33) with the invoice stating a dales price of 833.33 plus VAT of 166.67

3 - Seller is not VAT registered so only had a sales price of 1k. Seller gets 1k and pays income tax on any yearly profit from business.

I'm not an accountant but that sounds about right I guess.
