You quoted a liberal rag that issues fake "fake checks", another "false but true" pretending that murders involving multiple people in Canada don't don't count because of some "magik" logic .

Overall, Americans are almost 70% more likely to die at the end of a gun than Canadians are to die in a car accident.

So almost as many Canadian commit suicide as Americans die in gun deaths?

Here are some more facts:

The largest percentage of US suicides are by gun.

More people are killed in fist fights than are killed with rifles in the USA.

Almost all deaths by firearms are committed by convicted criminals.

It's illegal for felons or people convicted of violent misdemeanors to own a firearm in the USA but enforcement is lax in democrat run cities where most crime is committed.

Obviously math is not your forte, especially considering USA has 10X the population of Canada. :xf.rolleyes:

Here are some more facts:

45,222 Americans died of gun-related injuries in 2020, more than in any other year on record.

https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2022/02/03/what-the-data-says-about-gun-deaths-in-the-u-s/

Approx. 4000 deaths by suicide each year in Canada, pattern has been consistent for the past 60 yrs.

How many of those "injuries" happened outside of democrat run cities.

So you're saying you don't know how to read a graph? Okay now I understand your confusion.
Even after covid?
StasCan doesn't provide the numbers, but suicide from CDC USA - not sure how many are gun related.

That's a pretty useless graph, except maybe as an example of how easily sloppy statistics and shiny graphics can confuse people.

Normally one compares like with like (not apples and oranges). This chart includes suicides among the US gun deaths but has suicide as a separate item for Canada, for example. There is nothing that can be learned from such a chart, Like comparison with auto accidents, it's a presentation without logic - meant to cause emotional reactions in readers who believe they are responding to "facts." The entire world would be better off if more people learned to separate their feelings from facts.
