I think the net sold recent at auction for over $1,000 and is reg to Frank Schilling (I think) or his business name. This org name was dropped after 6 years according domain tools. Since I run woodpelletfuel.org with great serp's this can make a good addition. I find it boring though.

How do you snap a name with age? Isn't the only way to drop catch by getting it after it expires and the age resets to zero?

lol .. only problem is that this thread is specifically for names you got at hand "reg" .. meaning at no cost other than basic registration fee. Which pretty much by definition means it was either snapped up at the drop .. or just a domain that was never registered before.

If this were for names bought at closeout then I'd have a ton of names to share here! lol

Although in a way I do consider names bought at $11 closeout to be "snapped" as well in a way .. but it's still not technically a hand "reg" though ...

So I haven't really done much drop catching .. however .. in the last couple of weeks a couple of times I've done a very simple check of names I was watching at auction and/or closeout just to see if there are any names I regretted not getting at the time. Today's list included:

I was actually really upset somebody else got this one as I really liked the ring to how it rolls off the tongue .. and people who love bacon REALLY love bacon! lol

So a little pissed I figure I'd at least do a little learning and check to see if I could tell which service caught it based on the WhoIs info ... but then to my dismay .. guess who already owns BaconSensation?



lol .. that's right .. it's me .. I had actually got it when it quietly snuck into closeout under the radar .. lol .. so while it's technically not a catch .. I did get the exact same happy feeling as if I did catch it!

I think I might have a few too many domains !? lol
