I think the net sold recent at auction for over $1,000 and is reg to Frank Schilling (I think) or his business name. This org name was dropped after 6 years according domain tools. Since I run woodpelletfuel.org with great serp's this can make a good addition. I find it boring though.

With respect. Those are bit random. with 3L or even 4L in .xxx you really need to be choosey and the word or set of letters would need to be relevent and useful to somebody.
No self respecting legit company would ever brand on .xxx unless it was ONLY for "that" industry.

VR and AR are promoted as a future multi-billion dollar industry.

True you could try VR.xxx that's probably worth 6 figures. or you can own AR.xxx too. same value probably.

but when you see websites like VRARA.com you kinda get the feeling that people who want to be in the "reality" market want to have a broad range and reach.

There is a reason why the term VRAR has become popular because if you are in this field you really want people to know that they are above to enter a website that has EVERYTHING they wanna know about all this "reality" stuff.

The were only $8 to register, so it wasn't that much of a loss, but I certainly wasn't going to renew them for the regular price.

Nebula, this one seems like a bad idea because of the trademark. I can't think of any usage other than pet care. I'd put a no parking landing page on it with a BIN of $500.They might just buy it instead of paying the udrp fee.

No intention of selling it. The Disney Vault is a huge thing for Disney -- was going to freely hand it over to them. I do that with TM names that have an obvious, obvious, obvious trademark with no hope of ulterior purpose.
