I use Afternic and I use Dan. They both offer different things. I hope it stays that way.
I am kind of put off by Dan's "partnership" message, when it clearly appears to be a straight acquisition by GoDaddy.
Afternic has the largest network, but the Dan system is superior to Afternic on many levels IMO - landers, leads, negotiation, and transfer process.
If GoDaddy wants to keep Dan as is, it won't really effect customers.
My prediction is they are basically going to stick GoDaddy logos on the landers and raise the commission to 20% in order to "standardize" across their services.
Not many large portfolio holders are going to negotiate a sale via lead, then also pay 20%. I already heard this from many people, including prominent investors.

Some clarity on GoDaddy's plans would help.
