I have domain related with AdSense, typing my domain is more quick than google.com/adsense... will google do anything if I'm redirect my domain to google.com/adsense?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I think they may thank you if you redirect to them. That is as long as you don't put ads all over a redirection page or frame their pages.

I have to agree, they should thank you for your kindness. Doesn't bother their TM as far as I see. :)

You're generally helping them. Generally, if you're not earning money and you're not making them lose money, then it's fine.

As long as you direct the name to their site and hand it over to them I'm sure they will be perfectly happy :) But if you plan on pointing it at their site to build up traffic and then using that traffic to generate revenue you will be in for trouble.

Don't Know about Google ,But i Had a Similiar Situation
I Had Regged a Name that is Similiar To a TM'd Name (No Hyphen ,tm name is Hypenated)
and Redirected all traffic to the TM site
Still got a Cease & Desist order to turnoff Redirect
They don't want the Domain ,just don't want any one to Use .
Weird Attitude

Well if I were a TM holder, and someone were directing a domain name to my own site, I might be a little worried, because my customers might become accustomed to using that URL, and then if one day you decided to redirect it to a porn site, I'd lose a lot of business/customers, even though it was beyond my control.

Yes ,Fair enough but I even offered to Transfer & renew Name to them Not interested. So now the name (with 30+ Uniques Weekly)
Redirects to their Competitiors site

what exactly is the point of owning the name?

Yeah i'm gonna have to agree with the fact that they might get accustomed to that url and then you could just change it one day or something. I reccomend you just e-mail google and find about it. That would be the easiest way.

They wouldn't mind it if you redirect to them, but you could first try to sell it to them :)

JoshHendo- why try to sell it? google could just send a c&d letter and easily receive the name w/o purchasing it.

Just email google and see if they will let you use it.

I dont see anything wrong in doing that

I think you should request the information from Google itself.

I started a similar thread here...

So far no replies yet.

Thing is, why has Google not done anything about adsense.com (or even vice versa)? AdSense.com has been around since 2001. Could it be that Google does not acutlly own the TM to AdSense? Afterall, if you go to the Google AdSense main page, you will see that in the logo, "Adesense" does not have a "TM" or a "SM" next to it. Not even a cirleC.

Really close :

Google trademark "Adsense" last year, September 7, 2004, I think, because it was already registered and used before.
I think they cannot take the "adsense.com" domain, because simply it was here a lot before they were. I think they would try to buy it, though.
