advice For an expiring DN registered with Godaddy, Is it better to catch the domain through a Godaddy backorder or use other services like Dropcatch?

Hello everyone,

I'm interested in acquiring a domain that is expiring soon. I check the whois records & the domain seems to be registered with GoDaddy. Since it's with GD, would there be a higher chance of success if I order through GD or should I just stick to other services like Dropcatch etc.?

If the domain is in Pending Delete status, the domain is available to any backorder and the fact that it was registered with godaddy is irrelevant.
If is not Pending, then buy it directly from Godaddy
