I know I'm late in the game with dubai domains, but after the recent sale of dubaiproperty.com and looking around, I watched this video tonight on the progress of all the construction and wow. Went on a small dubai reg frenzy to get my domain fix for the week :hehe: Nothing special I dont think but here they are.

Thats nice, remember Dubai is still quite unknown in the world, i'm more than skeptic about the 15m tourists in 2010, but i wouldnt be surprised if it hit the 10m mark. So, long way to go for UAE/Dubai to be world recognized and to get the most out of our domains. Heads up

Traffic is good, development ideas are unlimited. Emails always comming in about people wanting to do something with the domain for me, but I reject. It's time will come soon in the future

2)only 10-20% is UAE traffic at most, even on my developed sites, mostly American traffic that im getting.

No, that is the "proper" version - I have إمارات.net - Emirates.net,

the "proper" version means The Emirates. That one went pretty cheap if you ask me!

Plenty of Dubai IDNs available with the slashes that would be worth xx,xxx+ in Ascii. I'm actually getting a lot of traffic from the gulf region!
