I'm not quite sure if I'm following the rules correctly, but I wanted to start interacting in the community to learn more about domaining.

I just picked up recently a good amount of dot COM domains that are all in the bitcoin niche. I felt like it was a pretty huge niche and would have a showcase thread, but I searched and didn't see one.

If I understand correctly, you can only post your domains if it's in the specific niche showcase, so I took the initiative to begin one. If this is against the rules I apologize!

it seems that a lot of operators in the bitcoin biz dont have names/brands with the whole word "bitcoin" in them and instead limit themselves to the word "bit" or "coin"

Probably just too cheap to buy one from the owner and instead they come up with their own for $10

anyone heard anything about this new dash coin? It's supposedly the next big thing.

Dash Coin is NOT new, Its the old 'Darkcoin' now renamed: Dash. (way better name than 'Dark'coin)

Dash coin is the 4th largest Cryptocoin in the world. Unlike Bitcoin Dash coin is anonymous, (hence the original name Darkcoin) Dash will never be bigger than Bitcion, but it is the most popular 'anonymous' coin.
