Does anyone know if we can watch the Live Auction from our computer without paying the $100 fee to be a bidder???

Just reviewed the live list. Good names ... among a hearty portion of mediocre. That must actually be a well-crafted strategy.

Auction selection coordinator: "We need 2 Porsche, 3 Mercedes, 15 Buick LeSabre, 65 used Ford Taurus, 100 Ford Pintos, and 285 pogo sticks. That's a wrap, we've got our final auction list." :tu:

Wow...afterall the excitement they just deleted my name from the Live Auction. I feel a little bummed, however, what I really feel bad about is that I told this local charity I was buying new computers for their kids with most of the proceeds. So it wasn't just me, but others whom were excited. When will I learn to shut up??? Guess Chances(dot)org won't be creating any chances for a while.

Well, at least yours in the extended auction. There will probably be more bidders online. In fact, I think a LOT of the better names are in the extended catalog after looking at it. Mine won't be in either auction because I didn't see the email they sent to me confirming domain ownership. I hate SPAM. Good Luck!

Sellers's submitted reserves, snap sent back revised reserves (lower for the most part) seller could either accept (to continue to the next level-auction committee acceptance) or deny which I believe pulled your name out of contention. I think the reserves should have been hidden since associating a price with a domain may cause people to assess a predetermined value on a name which is something an auction seller never wants to do. Look at eBay, the online auction leader, they never disclose reserve prices. I can see putting a range but listing the reserve?

Ron, the software doesnt work here. The page opens up with the install option, when I click on it nothing happens. Also, cannot scroll down.

I`m so sick of their BS , I submitted better names than some that made the Live auctions and especially the extended catalogue but they do not admit that they simply did not have time to appraise all domains submitted....

I mean there are some random LLLL.com , some crappy .mobi and some 3 chars .com in there while I submitted Premium LLLL.com , CVCV.com , Geo in several extensions and one nice LLL.com and they were all refused.

I think there are some really nice names on the list with some excellent keywords that can be easily branded. Given the cost of starting up a company, I think some of these names will do well, if there is a well-financed company out there looking to getting going quickly. I'll put my money on trial lawyer doing the best. There is a ton of money in law. Which are your favorites?

Seems like you aren't reading posts above. The website mentions VIEWING the auction online is available at no fee. A software download is required to view.
