Anybody know the email address to submit the names. I haven't recieved a response from the customer center.

Hmmm...I'm not sure. The only one I've got now is the downloaded preliminary with the 2500 names. Perhaps they are having a hard time trying to decide which of the 400 or so names they want for their live auction?

I have a domain which has just been approved to be in the auction. Received an email asking me to transfer the domain to snapnames. They provided a snapnames staff's email, should I send the auth code to his email address?

Yes.....if you do not send the auth code for the transfer (unless its already at Snap or Moniker) then expect to pay the $100 fee if its sold BEFORE the auction starts. Send ASAP

Not sure, but you can try to contact your SnapNames account representative.

I sent mine to my rep...he will handle it in fact they advised to do so in my email.

They are not giving us any paperwork or contracts about these transfers. I feel a little on edge about that. Just send them the auth code..sure! No contract or paperwork stating anything with our domain names on them - just a congratulations email saying your names have been accepted.

Hrrmmm. I know Snapnames is legit however with all of those domains something is bound to go wrong somewhere.

I feel the same way but its too late for me. Already sent them my info and auth. codes earlier today. Haven't heard anything back yet.

Me too, just got another email sent to the domain's whois email, to verify the ownership.

NO need to worry..YOU still own the domain name..its just at a diffrent registrar...so no matter what you are still the owner.....a company like snap is not goin to make "steal" names

Natty - that is what I figured, but you know Sh!t happens.

I guess I could just go and create a free moniker account and transfer them there myself.

Anyone - Am I correct in assuming Moniker qualifies as a network registrar and that would save me the fees?

Moniker is stated as one of the registrar that can save u the fee

If you are concerned I would assume that if the name has not been transferred pre sale then if it does sell, immediately set up a transfer to Moniker, cost only of transfer/reg fee.

It would be completed by the time payment/new buyer transfer is due.

If no concerns accept the free transfer and one year extra registration.

Just received an email from SnapNames confirming my name made the extended auction. Those who made the live auction should also have received an email. However the official catalog is not yet released.

CONGRATULATIONS
We are now at the exciting point in our process where we list your domain names in the SnapNames Live Auction or Extended Auction Catalog for DOMAINfest Global!

Only 300-400 domains can be included in the Live Auction Catalog*, and auctioned during the DOMAINfest Global conference January 22-23.

All other premium domains, as well as those that remain unsold from the live auction, will be offered via the special Extended Auction Catalog, a public SnapNames online-only event running January 24-31.

i have moniker account abd how can i transfer to moniker and how i get the authorization code?

Hi,

I was confused also. You should be able to find your authorization code along with the information of your domain where you have it registered. If you havn't already. The last time I transfered a domain name a code wasn't necessary. That was sometime awhile ago.

I'm a believer... I just got news that my Chances (dot) org is going to the LIVE auction. I promised God that if it made it in, I'd use the money towards creating a Positive News Network. One that helps people help others and encourages them to get involved with everything from community service to recycling. I submitted lots of names for the auction, but this is the only one that made it...and I was told only 350 or so did out of 110,000. So for me, this is kind of like a miracle. CharityNews (dot) tv will now become a reality.
