Yes we are mostly all up to date with the scams and online pretences that try to draw us in. But, I have serious concerns about the vulnerabilities of many that have entered our market as of late. There's no doubt domainers have become a target of many false domain offers following a similar enquiry/offer pattern,
Of course scammers are seeking those with wealth to lose but they are also looking for the gullible. Most of us can spot them straight away. The opening $800 or thereabouts direct offer seems to repeat itself. I've had several so can't believe I'm alone. I hate to think how many of our non-English speaking members may get drawn in (mostly those using interpreter software) Bad times ahead for those entering or in the domain market without full awareness, which is the vast majority I'm sad to say.
The follow-up Cons and methods to be used aren't hard to imagine
